Stillness is not the absence of work. It is the moment the work stops being yours to carry.
Day 4 opens on the granite, holds for four seconds, and lets the line land before the music arrives. The narration comes in on the second beat, not the first.
The verse is not asking for quiet. It is asking you to stop holding the thing up. Those are different instructions, and only one of them is restful.
Close on the same granite, unmoved by any of it. Whatever was carried this morning is still here this evening, and the mountain has no opinion about that.
